Fiorella Martin - The Attachment Architect - What Secure Attachment Actually Feels Like

Most people think attachment is a style. After 24 years working with women on love, Fiorella Martin reveals what secure attachment actually feels like — and why most people have it completely backwards.

Everyone’s talking about attachment styles right now.

Anxious. Avoidant. Fearful. Secure.

You’ve probably taken the quiz. Maybe more than once.

And yet — here you are. Same patterns. Different person.

Because knowing your attachment style and actually healing it are two completely different things.

After 24 years working with women on love, I want to share something that changed everything for the women I work with.

Attachment isn’t a category. It’s a feeling.

And most of us have never truly felt it.

It Starts Earlier Than You Think

Before we talk about relationships — we need to talk about you.

Not your ex. Not the men you’ve chosen. Not your patterns.

You.

Because secure attachment doesn’t begin with finding the right person.

It begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself.

Fully. Completely. Without editing.

When we experience that — with ourselves first, and then with others — something shifts that no quiz result can ever produce.

We feel seen. Valued. Like we belong.

Not because someone told us so. But because we know it from the inside.

What Trauma Actually Does To Us

Here’s something I wish more people understood.

Attachment trauma doesn’t just hurt us.

It fragments us.

When we’re young and love feels unsafe — conditional, unpredictable, or simply absent — parts of us break away. The joyful part. The trusting part. The part that knew she was enough.

Those parts don’t disappear. They get pushed into the shadow of our subconscious. Out of reach. Out of awareness.

What’s left is the parts that survived.

The achiever. The perfectionist. The woman who decided she’d never need anyone again.

Think of it like a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle — scattered across the floor. You can see fragments. But you can’t see the whole picture.

And the whole picture? That’s who you really are.

This Is Where Shadow Parts Work Comes In

Shadow Parts work is not therapy in the traditional sense.

There’s no lying on a couch. No revisiting painful memories for hours.

It’s something more precise. More elegant.

We go back — gently, safely — and find those fragmented pieces. The wounded parts that got buried. We let them speak. We hear what they’ve been carrying all these years.

And then we restore them.

One by one, the pieces of the jigsaw come back together.

Your authentic self begins to re-emerge. Not a new version of you — the original one. The one who existed before the wounds told her she wasn’t enough.

And when those pieces come back together — everything changes.

What It Actually Feels Like

Women I’ve worked with describe it the same way every time.

Full. Serene. Free.

There’s a quiet that comes — not emptiness, but peace. A sense of abundance that doesn’t depend on anyone else being there.

Love stops feeling like something you need to survive.

It becomes something you can simply enjoy.

And here’s the truth that took me years to really understand:

Until you love and appreciate yourself — truly, not just as a mantra — no love from the outside can fully reach you. It has nowhere to land.

You have to be attached to yourself before you can genuinely attach to someone else.

What Secure Attachment Actually Looks Like Day To Day

You stop questioning whether you deserve to have needs.

You stop wondering if you’re too much — or not enough.

You feel safe being completely yourself with another person.

You’re curious about them — genuinely, not anxiously.

You can be alone and feel full. Not lonely. Not lacking.

Just — whole.

And when the right person comes into that wholeness?

It doesn’t complete you.

It simply recognises you.

Living In Your Queendom

This is the part I love talking about most.

Because the highest experience of attachment isn’t just feeling secure.

It’s what I call living in your Queendom.

No competition. Because no one else exists quite like you.

No performance. Because you’re not trying to earn your place anymore.

Just you — in your full magnificence. Without ego. Without armour.

A true shining light.

This isn’t a fantasy. I’ve seen it happen. I’ve lived it myself.

It’s what becomes available when the healing is complete.

And from that place — love doesn’t feel desperate or complicated or exhausting.

It feels like the most natural thing in the world.

So Where Do You Start?

If any of this resonated — the fragmentation, the performing, the searching — I want you to know something.

You’re not broken.

You’re a thousand beautiful pieces waiting to come back together.

And that process? It’s more possible than you know.

The Attachment Program exists for exactly this.

A private 26-week journey combining Shadow Parts healing, clinical hypnosis and courtship coaching — for successful women over 50 who are ready to stop searching and start arriving.

If you’re ready to have that conversation — I’d love to hear from you.
